It might surprise you to know that Jim Graham once disliked both reading and writing as a child. His passion for literature was ignited in high school, thanks to the inspiring teaching of Jon Jessel in Parkersburg, Iowa. This transformative experience shaped his path to becoming the author he is today.
Jim takes his lifetime of experience in public service as a US Marine, a paramedic, a police officer, a deputy sheriff, and a state investigator and brings it into his narratives providing the reader a glimpse into the harsh realities of those worlds. He blends love, humor, tragedy, and the complexities of human emotions into unforgettable characters.
